Save documents from any application into a FileSphere Pickup Folder

FileSphere Pickup Folders provide you with a location in which you can place or save documents from any application so that they are automatically added to FileSphere. Pickup Folders are set up and maintained in the FileSphere Administration console, which requires FileSphere administration access rights. Pickup Folders can be set up to classify documents and to delete files, once they have been added to FileSphere.

To add documents from Windows Explorer

Locate the document you wish to add to FileSphere and Drag & Drop or Copy & Paste it into a designated Pickup Folder.

To add documents from their application

Open or create the document as you would normally and select Save from the application's File menu.

The Windows Save As dialog box is displayed.

Browse to and open a designated Pickup Folder, then click Save.

Once you close the document, it will be added to the Document Space specified in the Pickup Folder settings.
