Templates

Templates is a reference folder, associated with your default Document Space, in which you can keep links to copies of important templates, master documents and proformas.

Opening a document from Templates opens an editable copy of the document, while preserving the original document.

Saving changes to a document opened from Templates automatically displays the Save As... dialog box because the document has to be saved as a new FileSphere document. If you keep copies of a large number of documents in Templates, you can use the View By function to help you locate documents. If you add non FileSphere documents to Templates, they will be also be added to your default Document Space.

If you change your default Document Space, you will automatically remove all existing template links.
