Document Space / Network Peer

The Document Space acts as a central repository for your computer and it displays and tracks all active documents that are stored by FileSphere. 

You can manage, classify, retrieve, send and open documents from the Document Space and view document status and version details. 

You can see whether a document is are Checked In, Checked Out or Finalized

You can also see how many versions exist for a document and who it was last edited by.

Each Document Space has its own classification and property settings. One document space is set as the default space for Templates and the Shredder.

In addition to document icons, you may also see icons for View Folders, Ghost Folders or Static Folders. Static Folders are only displayed when no View By property is selected.

To locate and identify documents in the Document Space you can use the Retrieval Bar or you can group documents into View Folders using the View By function.
