Ghost Folder
Ghost Folders are the equivalent of
empty View
Folders and they represent values found in the Document Space but
for which there are no documents in the current view.
When you see
a Ghost Folder it means that either, documents
with this folder property value exist in a
different view, or that
a new folder has been manually created in the system using the New
Folder button.
Ghost Folders are hidden from display, by default,
when FileSphere is installed. You can toggle their display on and
off using the Ghost Folders button or the keyboard shortcut,
Ctrl+G.
And Ghost Folders also have the ability to classify
documents. If you add a document to a single Ghost
Folder or one in a hierarchy of
folders, it will inherit the property
values of
all higher folders.
Once a Ghost Folder contains
a document in a particular view it is
displayed as a View Folder.
