Image Management

FileSphere provides a function to acquire images directly from any TWAIN compliant imaging device supported by the system. The system also allows users to capture images manually or automatically, for high performance, using any external scanning device. Images can be automatically captured and classified in an organisations central information repository allowing for the conversion and utilisation of paper documents in electronic form for improved collaboration, retention and archival.

Scanner Integration
Scanned images can be added to the file store directly from any Twain compatible device including scanners and digital cameras.

Automated Image Capture
Files can be automatically classified and added to FileSphere from designated pickup folders on the file system or from within any supported application. This allows the automatic capture of manually scanned images or the complete automation of image capture processes.

Metadata Based Image Classification
Provides a layer for classifying images based on their characteristics. Images can be classified according to their source, type or customisable metadata schema relevant to the user and the organisation. This allows images to automatically convey meaning that is not conveyed by the name of the document.

Enterprise Search
Provides comprehensive keyword search functionality allowing users to quickly search for relevant to a particular keyword or phrase.

Enterprise Navigation
Users can organise their images into a personalised view based on image metadata, dynamically organising their own image hierarchy and quickly navigating to their images or image group. Users no longer need to remember the names of images or their storage location to find them as they are already tagged with metadata when added to the repository.
